The ICAD Principles are an open specification licensed under CC BY 4.0.
We welcome proposals to refine, extend, or clarify any principle.

Step by Step

How the Amendment Process Works

1

Submit

Describe the principle you'd like to amend, your proposed change, and the scientific or operational rationale.

2

Review

The ZONTAL team evaluates every proposal against the ICAD specification's internal consistency, scientific accuracy, and operational applicability.

3

Publish

Accepted amendments are incorporated into the next revision. Contributors are acknowledged in the specification changelog.

Amendments may propose: clarification of existing principle language, extension to cover additional use cases, correction of scientific or technical inaccuracies, addition of new assessment criteria, or refinement of maturity indicators.
